Settings

The Settings dialog groups all global preferences into a left-hand navigation list. Open it from the Start page (Settings) or the application menu. Changes are applied when you click OK and are stored locally under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Deepsona.

General

Application-level options. Language selection and startup preferences are planned for this section.

Files & Folders

• Reports & exports folder — the default folder that the report Save dialog opens in. Leave empty to use the last-used folder. Use Browse… to pick a folder.

Units & Format

• Single-value decimal places (0–6, default 2) — controls the number of decimals in footer / single-value text such as L = 90.32 dB(SPL). Applies to newly drawn charts.

Appearance

• Heatmap Color Palette — Black-Red (default) or Deepsona (cyan). Applies to all heatmaps (Data Viewer, Online Monitor, RPM Generator…). In the Data Viewer you can still right-click a chart to override its palette locally.

Acquisition Driver

• Deepsona Driver (default) — the self-developed acquisition stack (no vendor DLLs).
• Vendor Driver — the original manufacturer stack. This is a session-level preference; a USB device must be bound to the matching OS driver for the selected path to enumerate it.

AI Assistant

Provider, API key, and advanced model / temperature / iteration options for the chat assistant. See AI Assistant & Reporting for details.

Diagnostics

• Open log folder — opens the application folder containing crash.log. Send this file when reporting a problem. The USB acquisition log is at %TEMP%\vlisten_winusb.log.
