Product Overview

Deepsona is a professional acoustics and vibration analysis platform designed for engineers working in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), sound quality, structural dynamics, and environmental noise testing. Built on a modern WPF/.NET architecture, Deepsona delivers laboratory-grade analysis through a streamlined, single-application workflow—from data acquisition to final reporting.

Design Philosophy

Deepsona follows three core principles:

Benchmarking & Validation

Every native engine in Deepsona implements the relevant ISO, IEC and DIN reference standards. Before an algorithm is released to production it is verified against reference datasets and closed-form test signals, so every result is traceable to the standard it cites.

Note: Deepsona operates fully independently. No third-party software or license is required for any analysis—all computation runs locally in the native C# engines.

Analysis Modules

Deepsona ships with over 70 native analysis engines organized into the following functional modules:

Spectral Analysis

Time-frequency decomposition using FFT-based methods. Includes narrowband spectra, 1/n-octave band analysis (1/1, 1/3, 1/12, 1/24 octave), power spectral density (PSD), cross-spectral density, and spectrogram (FFT vs. Time) visualization with configurable window functions, overlap, and averaging.

Order Analysis

RPM-synchronous analysis for rotating machinery. Supports order spectrum, order vs. RPM tracking, overall level vs. RPM, and multi-order extraction. Accepts tacho pulse or encoder signals for precise angular resampling.

Psychoacoustics

Perceptual metrics aligned with ISO 532, ECMA-418, and DIN 45631/45692 standards:

Experimental Modal Analysis (EMA)

Frequency Response Function (FRF) measurement and curve fitting for structural dynamics. Supports impact hammer and shaker excitation, H1/H2/Hv estimators, and modal parameter extraction (natural frequencies, damping ratios, mode shapes).

Operational Modal Analysis (OMA)

Output-only modal identification from operational data without controlled excitation. Applicable to in-service structures, vehicles, and large civil engineering assets.

Operating Deflection Shapes (ODS)

Visualization of structural deformation patterns at specific frequencies or orders under actual operating conditions. Integrates with imported geometry models for animated deflection display.

Diagnostics

Condition monitoring and fault detection for rotating equipment. Envelope analysis, cepstrum analysis, and bearing fault frequency identification.

Sound Power

Sound power level determination according to ISO 3741 (precision), ISO 3744 (engineering), and ISO 3745 (anechoic/hemi-anechoic) measurement standards.

Acquisition Hardware

Category Connection Notes
Portable recorders USB Battery-powered field recorders, including binaural models.
Modular laboratory systems Ethernet / USB A controller with plug-in measurement modules.
General-purpose DAQ cards USB / PCIe Addressed per physical channel.

The acquisition layer is modular. Additional frontend adapters can be developed against the common acquisition interface without modifying the core analysis pipeline.

Key Differentiators

Feature Description
Native C# Engines All 70+ analysis algorithms are implemented in managed C# with full source access—no opaque third-party compute libraries.
HDF Compatibility Reads industry-standard proprietary HDF recording files directly, preserving channel metadata, calibration, and tacho signals.
Pipeline Architecture Analysis chains are composed as configurable processing pipelines. Each node is independently testable, cacheable, and replaceable.
Standards-Based Algorithms Native engines implement ISO/IEC/DIN reference standards and are verified against reference datasets before production deployment.
Single Executable Acquisition, analysis, visualization, and reporting in one application—no separate tools or manual file transfers.
Offline Operation No license server or internet connection required for analysis. All computation runs locally.
